How we began
Dashagochar started in 1998 as a small office above a Varanasi sweet shop. The founding team pooled their savings to buy the first computer powerful enough to run ephemeris calculations. The first kundli we generated took eleven minutes.
By 2003, we had three astrologers and an answering machine. By 2014, the website had served its millionth chart. Today, 240+ astrologers consult in nine languages and we cast more than 4,000 kundlis a day — but the founding team still reviews customer feedback personally.
